Tips and Hints: Getting the best print quality

Paper and Print Quality

If you want to print top-quality pages, it’s best to use special photo paper. A combination of the latest Bubble Jet printers and high quality paper will deliver pictures that are almost indistinguishable from traditional photos. Special photo-quality inks help too, as they allow the printer to use smaller ink drops for higher definition. You may have to change your printer driver’s settings to suit the new cartridge.

To set print quality, open the PhotoRecord Print window from the File menu and select Draft, Standard or High. If your printer supports vivid photo printing, select this checkbox for maximum quality and make sure you have photo-quality paper in your printer.

If you see Instant Print in the file menu, open the PhotoRecord Preferences dialog box and de-select the Instant Print check box.
